Tardy the bell ringer.

I slipped through the open wooden accordion doors of an old, decommissioned green tram sitting peacefully in the sunlit yard. Inside, the polished wooden floorboards smelled wonderfully of aged varnish and warm brass. Waddling down the quiet aisle on my stubby feet, I found a small brass bell lever dangling near an empty velvet bench. Taking a steady breath, I reached up with my front little claws to give the tarnished pull-chain a soft, rhythmic pat. A faint, mellow chime echoed gently through the silent car. Reassured by the hollow vibration, I settled my round belly right beside the brass pedal, quietly keeping watch like a passenger ready for a timeless ride. #tardigrade #trains #Nuvurndiggle
