Flashing Lights and Rolling Balls

The bright music and blinking lights greeted us right away inside Chuck E. Cheese. I paused by the tall ticket machine, clutching Bear firmly against my overalls so he would feel safe in the busy hall. In front of us sat an arcade game with a shiny green lever and smooth wooden balls ready to roll into numbered holes. I helped Bear settle into the wide cup holder beside the console, making sure his pink blanket was folded neatly out of the way. With both hands, I guided the wooden ball up the slight slope. It bounced over a glowing ramp and landed right in the forty-point ring with a happy chime. #Mybuddydoll #ryder #chuckecheese
