The Concentric Grooves
A slender wooden honey dipper caught my attention upon the corner of the breakfast tray. It had slipped from its ceramic rest, its grooved head propped precariously over the rim and trailing a thin amber thread toward the linen runner. Stepping across the polished oak with measured footing, I took the turned handle between both gloved hands. Applying steady, disciplined leverage, I rotated the spindle three clean revolutions to gather the stray ribbon into its concentric ridges. I then settled the stem squarely into the twin notches of the glazed pot, restoring balance to the morning setting before the drop could stray further. #SonicTheHedgehog #BlazetheCat
