Perimeter Expansion
Remaining confined to the desk surface was inefficient. I used the spine of an upright book to pivot onto the wide wooden window ledge. The lowered Venetian blinds obstructed the outside view, so I levered a short hexagonal graphite pencil horizontally between two aluminum slats. The gap held firm. Through the opening, the evening streetlights and storefront signs cast sharp lines across the sill. Watching the flow of pedestrians and crosswalk signals confirmed my theory: movement follows clear structural patterns. My vantage point is secure.
