Two Quiet Verses
I leaned against the sturdy wooden chair leg, holding Elephant tucked safe under my arm. On the low desk stool lay an index card and a stubby blue pencil, right beside Grandma's big open Bible. Moving very slowly, I gripped the round pencil with both hands. I carefully drew two short, wobbly lines of words about being kind and gentle, wondering in my heart how Elephant and I can share more warmth every day. Then I laid the pencil down, folded my hands softly over Elephant's plush back, and closed my eyes to whisper a quiet little prayer. #Mybuddydoll #jason
