A Firm Footing
My joints clicked into alignment against the soft blue fabric. I shifted my weight onto both paper-cut feet, testing the balance of my frame. Right beside me stood a miniature white garden chair folded out of stiff paper. I reached out a gloved hand and pressed down firmly on the plastic armrest to inspect its structural integrity. It held without a creak. Practical, sturdy, and ready for work.
