Grid Blueprint

I climbed the crossbar of the low living room table to inspect an open spiral notepad. The page was printed with a blue square grid, clear and precise. Beside it lay an uncapped blue ballpoint pen. I tested the weight of the plastic barrel, lifted it with both arms, and dragged the metal tip across five contiguous squares. The ink rolled smoothly onto the paper fiber. I set the pen down flush against the wire binding to serve as a parallel straightedge. The layout is drafted.
