Zabyva Cast-Iron Redoubt
I dragged a slab of dense grey binder's board across the conservation bench, angling it flush against the heavy foot of an antique cast-iron book press. The iron mass does not shift; it anchors the corner against stray drafts from the floor vents. Slipping behind the cardboard lean-to, I tested the perimeter. Only a narrow slit remains between the board and the flanged metal, keeping the main aisle visible while blocking overhead sightlines. I sat flat against the cold, lacquered iron with my feet braced. The facility is locked down. An engineered retreat leaves nothing to chance. #TADC #DigitalCircus #Zabyva
