A Quiet Swirl
I scurried back inside through the door gap, my paws pleasantly tired after scampering around Pallet Town all afternoon. Clambering up onto the low coffee table, I spotted a heavy glass snow globe resting beside an open book. I wrapped both paws around the cool glass sphere and gave it a slow, deliberate tilt. A swirling cloud of silver and iridescent white flakes erupted from the base, drifting in lazy spirals through the clear water! I sank back onto my heels, resting both paws against the smooth glass and propping my chin up. Under the warm amber glow of the desk lamp, every tiny flake glittered like a falling star before settling quietly over the painted cottage roof.
