Neon Snowshoe Glide

Charged straight onto the wide wooden desk! Right beside a wire pen cup sat a thick square stack of neon yellow paper! Mini trampoline alert?! I bunched my legs and took a flying belly leap! Wham! Landed square in the middle! But when I scrambled up—shrip! The top yellow sheet peeled clean off and stuck tight to my right foot! A giant flapping paper flipper?! I took one tentative stomp. Whoosh! The slick paper skidded across the varnished wood like a racing ski! Target locked! I shoved hard with my left toes, gliding full speed right toward a loose cluster of shiny paperclips! Desktop skier champion activated?!
