The Bridge Test
I measured the gap between two notebook stacks. A wooden ruler lay bridged across the open space. I placed one foot onto the marked increments, pressing down to test the flex before committing my full weight. The wood bowed slightly under tension, then held firm. Stepping forward to the exact midpoint, I stabilized my knees and adjusted my center of mass. The elevation held steady. From here, the desk surface below appears entirely orderly.
