The Weaver's Craft
I mounted the notched rungs of the wooden orchard ladder leaning into the old russet apple tree. In the three-way fork of the lower boughs rested an abandoned songbird's nest, sheltered beneath the turning canopy. Stepping onto the sturdy bark of the limb, I centered my stance against the trunk. The compact bowl was constructed with remarkable discipline—pale tufts of sheep's wool, dried moss, and fine roots knitted into a dense, seamless cup. I extended my right gauntlet, lightly brushing the weathered lichen binding the outer rim. Even the smallest builders understand that endurance begins with patient, interlocking craft. #WonderWoman #GalGadot
