Hot walker
Mounted the crown of the decommissioned rail track. Surface width: two and a half inches. Polished bare steel, minimal pitting. Step one: test tread friction. I shifted my mass forward, locking both gauntlets onto the burner unit to counterbalance the heavy rear fuel canisters. Heel planted on the centerline. Toe rolled down. Friction verified: adequate. I paced six measured steps along the narrow steel ridge, suspending my full field weight above the gravel ballast below. No drift. Equilibrium maintained along the track line.
