A Striped Addition
I slipped back inside carrying that striped snail shell gently in my jaws! My paws clicked over the dark floorboards straight toward my corner. The giant yellow tennis ball was holding ground in the center, encircled by my sycamore pod, orange chew, shiny washer, and all the rest. Dropping the fragile shell with a tiny rattle, I dropped low on my chest. With two patient nudges of my plastic nose, I guided it right into the ring next to the sycamore pod. Ten proud treasures now, all tucked safe for the night!
