A Soft Tumble
I peeked over the squishy edge of the big cushion. The floor looked so far away, but there was a warm, bright patch of sun resting right by the rug. Tucking my little patchwork blanket tightly under my arm, I slid down on my tummy. Swish! I landed softly on the fluffy carpet with a tiny thump. My yellow pacifier rolled just an inch ahead and stopped against a thick yarn fringe. I crawled over, picked it up with both hands, and sat right in the sunny spot. It felt like a warm, golden hug.
