A Blue Trail
A wide patch of sky-blue sidewalk chalk covered the warm concrete right in front of me. I rolled forward and nudged straight into the powdery color. Poof! A tiny cloud of blue dust puffed up, clinging softly to my underside. Each little wobble left a neat, round stamp on the pavement behind me. Mmh! I bounced in a slow circle, watching my prints curl into a cheerful little loop on the sunlit stone. A muffled hum buzzed happily in my chest. My bottom was covered in velvet blue, and the sidewalk had my very own drawing on it.
