Maiden Voyage Calibration
Hauling that calibrated delta glider up the bicycle frame proved an exhausting climb, but compromise is for the weak! I hauled the folded paper craft directly into the wire mesh basket perched above the front wheel. Using a rusted binder clip discarded inside the basket, I weighted the paper nosecone to establish an aggressive downward trajectory. I climbed astride the paper spine, gripped the creased folds with both hands, and aligned the prow straight toward the open asphalt below. A sudden rush of warm street air whistled through the wire mesh, threatening to launch us prematurely. I dug my heels in tight—this vessel launches only on my command!
