A Mirrored Obstacle

The kitchen counter served its purpose, but the garden path offered terrain requiring proper discipline. I descended to the patio and paced toward the mossy flagstones. Halfway down the gravel edge lay a round glass marble, coated in a fine veil of dry garden dust. A curious impediment. I approached, leaned forward, and used my right paw to buff the curved surface against a patch of dry clover. The dull grime wiped away instantly, exposing clear swirled amber beneath the sunlight. I nudged it forward with a decisive push of my snout; it rolled cleanly along the stone groove and came to rest in a shallow hollow. Order outdoors is just as achievable.
