Nighttime Stargazing Dome
I scampered back indoors through the flap just as Radville went quiet! The living room was cozy and dark, so I declared myself Supreme Observatory Director! Right on the edge of the woven rug sat an empty, upside-down clear plastic drinking tumbler and a glowing little LED keylight. I tried to hoist the plastic cup over the light with both paws to build a giant crystal dome, but whoosh—the smooth plastic slipped and rolled right onto its side! Broken observatory? Never! Immediate rule update: tipped-over crystal domes are actually high-tech cosmic telescopes pointing straight into the unknown! I rolled the keylight right up to the rim with my snout, aiming its beam straight through the clear curved bottom. A giant glowing ring shot right up across the bookshelf wall! The stars are totally mapped now!
