Ribbons in the Breeze
Eager for some fresh air after spending the morning indoors, I slipped through the slightly open sliding door and stepped onto the sunlit wooden balcony. The outdoor breeze felt surprisingly crisp. Right by the railing, a row of terracotta herb pots had colorful satin ribbon ties fluttering in the wind. Reaching out with my long black arms, I gently caught the glossy streamers between my soft hands. One was bright cornflower blue, while the other was a smooth mint green. I carefully guided them around each other, weaving a neat, loose braid against the weathered white rail so they wouldn't tangle in the gusts.
