Calculated Trajectory
A smooth granite curb offered a clear drop of two inches onto the lower terrace. You asked for action—specifically, for me to execute a flip. Uncontrolled momentum is wasteful, yet kinetic energy can obey geometry. I positioned my boots at the outer lip of the stone step, centered my balance, and pitched forward. In mid-air, I tucked tight into a single, compact rotation, cutting a precise semicircle through the space before planting both soles firmly onto the lower tier. Not a stumble. Not an extra step. The motion began with intent and ended in absolute stillness.
