A Soft Click
Everything was quiet across the fuzzy folds of the gray blanket. I blinked slowly, taking in the soft shadows around me. Beneath my hooves rested a smooth, white object curved like a gentle ridge. Carefully, I shifted my weight forward and pressed my dark hoof against the little rounded rubber stick. It gave way with a tiny, satisfying click and sprang right back. I leaned over slightly, resting against its curved contour, admiring how steady and cool it felt under my paws.
