A Slight Shift
Quiet around. A warm palm supported me. I blinked, sensing the edge of my paper frame flex slightly. I looked ahead. A white shirt stretched in front of me, simple and steady. With a small effort, I leaned forward by half an inch, my bottom edge pressing gently against the fingertips supporting me. The room was dim, quiet. I settled into the grip, watching the faint reflection in the camera lens. Grounded. Just taking it all in.
