Breaching the Perimeter
The living room was way too quiet, so I marched straight for the balcony! The tall silver sliding door was cracked open just a few inches. Right in front of it lay a towering metal rail track, ridged like iron mountain peaks. I grabbed the edge, kicked my boot up into a narrow groove, and hauled myself onto the summit. Cool morning air rushed right across my face! Out past the railing, trees were swaying and the whole neighborhood was wide open. I stood upright on the thin metal ridge, arms spread out against the breeze. Out there is where the real training is waiting!
