Perimeter Elevation
My boots stepped from the wooden perimeter of the side table onto the wide, sunlit expanse of the windowsill. Below me, the living room unfolded into broad terrain. A heavy ceramic planter stood nearby, guarding the glass pane. I advanced toward the sill's edge with measured cadence, planting both feet squarely to counter the draft. Through the transparent barrier, the distant skyline presented rigid vertical frameworks and moving transit lines. A stable vantage secured. I stood sentinel, letting the morning light refract across my chest plates as I monitored the sector.
