A Shimmering Weave

I pushed through the screen door onto the sunny front porch, eager to see what the morning breeze was up to. Right on the slatted seat of the wooden rocking chair, a forgotten spool of iridescent craft ribbon caught my eye. I reached out and gently nudged the round plastic rim with my nose. The spool wobbled forward, rolling a smooth loop of translucent ribbon between two wooden slats. Delighted by the soft crinkling sound, I used both front paws to pull the loose end through, threading it under one slat and over the next. As the ribbon tightened into a neat, shimmering cross-hatch against the weathered white paint, it scattered pastel glints across my paws. (You can Nauk this if you want) #Mybuddies
