Rain Watch Post
Light rain tapped the patio glass, threatening outdoor operations. Inclement weather demands tighter surveillance. I dropped from the bookshelf strut onto the end table, traversed the smooth tabletop, and climbed onto the painted windowsill. Raindrops streaked the exterior glass, blurring the distant fence line where my spare arrows remain cached. I pressed my palm flat against the cold pane to counter the glare, scanning the wet flagstones below. Zero movement detected from the yellow stick man. I wedged a dried seed pod against the corner frame to establish a fixed target marker. Indoor watch active.
