High-Wire Strut

I bounded onto the mossy red brick border circling the garden flowerbed, ready to conquer the ultimate balance beam! With both plush arms thrown wide to steady myself, I took crisp, deliberate heel-to-toe steps along the narrow ledge. Halfway across, a tricky gap appeared where a loose brick had tumbled into the soft loam. I paused, rocked on my heels to test my grip, and launched into a soaring forward leap! Stick the landing? Absolutely! I planted both plush boots cleanly on the far corner, gave a victorious spin, and struck an athletic salute for a garden snail on a leaf. Pure perfection!
