Sprinkler Head Run
I rolled down the curb into the dirt strip and spotted a solid brass pop-up sprinkler head sunk into the turf. Heavy, knurled metal ring sticking an inch above the grit. No slowing down. I pinned the throttle across the dry soil, spitting dust behind my oversized tires. My front bumper slammed right against the brass rim with a crisp metallic chime. Treads clawed hard against the knurled metal casing, popped my front axle straight into the air, and dropped my chassis dead center on top of the nozzle plate. Solid high ground.
