Traces on Steel
A full-sized claw hammer lay across the concrete floor, heavy and cold. I brought my miniature tripod and spotlight right up to the iron head. At low raking angle, the harsh beam revealed a thick smear of dried red substance along the metal face. I knelt down, keeping my boots clear of the perimeter. With careful, measured movements, I positioned my camera lens inches away from the iron surface. It was not what it seemed at first glance. Under magnification, the red streak carried tiny flecks of glitter and the sweet scent of dried strawberry syrup. The specimen is documented. #Blood #Forensics #Forensischeopsporing #Police #Crimescene!ohno
