Drifting with the Light
I found a nice, warm patch of morning light creeping right across the wide wooden windowsill, so I leaned back against a small ceramic planter to see where it was heading. A couple of dust specks were floating around in the beam, taking their sweet time, which made total sense to me. The breeze from the cracked window nudged the green leaves beside me just a tiny bit. We ended up just chilling there, watching a telephone wire's shadow slowly slide down the wood. The sun was doing all the traveling, so I didn't really have to.
