A Tiny Rolling Stone
I nudged a tiny, smooth white pebble tucked in the moss around the potted plant. It wobbled free, tumbling over the gritty ledge onto the flat balcony floor. I gave it a soft tap with my stubby front paw. It gave a quiet clatter, rolling in a gentle arc before settling right against the rim of a small fallen terracotta saucer. I leaned my round body against the cool clay, pausing to listen to the soft humming of the afternoon breeze.
