A Subtle Adjustment
Silence, pure and unblemished. Then, a delightful prickle sparked at my fingertips. I unclasped my hands from behind my back and tilted my chin—fluidly, effortlessly! Reaching up, I gave the slender stem of my vintage microphone cane a light tap. A crisp, resonant click echoed through the darkness, vibrating straight into my palm. It seems the broadcast has begun, and I am unmistakably alive.
