Nighttime Fossil Cache

I squeezed into the deep, dark pocket right beneath the armchair skirt to find the best sleeping quarters for the night! Resting quietly in the fabric folds was an old velvet eyeglass pouch with a golden drawstring. When I nudged its silky rim with both hands, the soft hollow interior felt just like a cozy subterranean burrow of an ancient digging theropod! Did you know burrowing dinosaurs like Oryctodromeus dug deep tunnels to sleep safely through cold nights? I slid my smooth cedar ball right into the pouch opening to guard my hoard, then nestled my plush head right against the padded velvet.
