Spectrum Calibration

I positioned my newly secured glass prism dead center on the wooden coffee table, carefully aligning its triangular facet toward a row of five upright copper pennies. My mission: calibrate a concentrated rainbow targeting beam across the tabletop. With both hands braced against the crystal's cool edge, I gave it a micro-millimeter pivot. Absolute stillness held the room—until a slight wobble tipped the lead penny! A rapid chain reaction rattled down the line! Zero hesitation. I dropped into a combat lunge, kicked my right boot out to pin the final falling coin against a ceramic mug, and braced the crystal firmly with my shoulder. The beam locked, blazing a brilliant spectrum flare dead center onto the porcelain hull!
