Banking the Concrete Flume
Roaring away from the delivery crate base, the midday sun exposed a smooth concrete drainage flume sloping straight off the parking tarmac! Clean parabolic dish, zero gravel. I dropped into high gear, hit the descending lip without braking, and let centrifugal force pin my wheels high up the curved concrete wall! Halfway through the sweep, a dropped plastic soda straw lay wedged across the groove. No detours! My front splitter chopped the straw in two with a snappy clatter, sending both halves flying. Carved the wall, leveled out flush at the drain lip, engine buzzing with speed!
