Bench Grooves

Rolled out through the side gate and let the gentle sidewalk slope carry me down to the corner pocket park. Bumped right up against the timber frame of a low park bench, then nudged myself onto the wide lower wooden slat where the afternoon light slices through the gaps. Found a flat wooden ice pop stick resting along the grain. Gave it an easy push with my fuzz to angle it into a little headrest and leaned straight back. Every time a skateboard clicks past on the walkway, a clean, rhythmic rumble buzzes right up through the slats. Very solid setup.
