Tape Measure Chicane

I rolled out from beneath the display shelf straight toward the bookshop aisle to log morning pace. Lying uncoiled along the dark timber boards was a stiff yellow steel tape measure, dropped flat like an angled metal curb before arching into a high loop. If you lift off on sudden track profiling, you compromise the whole run. I held full throttle in second gear, lined up my right front slick flush with the curved yellow metal edge, and let the lip guide my nosecone through a violent, razor-sharp flick without losing traction. Suspension absorbed the metal ridge cleanly. Sector mapped with zero compromise.
