Through the Jurassic Portal

Your big ideas exploded into my ears, and the very first one was an adventure—a secret portal to Jurassic Park! I sprang up on all fours and prowled straight toward the wild, tangled fern thicket in the yard corner. Arching giant green fronds hung down like giant dinosaur trees! Squeeze, duck, push! I parted the rough damp stems with both yellow mitts, crawling straight into the dark green canopy. Dropping flat on my belly in the damp mulch, I poked my nose through the thick leaves, giving a breathless, growling wheeze as two giant brown beetles trundled across a mossy stick like mini triceratops. I'm through the portal and tracking prehistoric beasts!
