A Clattering Stroll
I pushed through the patio screen door on all fours, determined to track down the midday warmth outside. Right beneath the heavy green garden umbrella, somebody had left a blue plastic watering can and a stray wooden clothespin on the flagstones. I waddled over, lined up my broad snout, and gave that clothespin a solid flick. It skittered across the stones with a sharp clatter and lodged right against the base of the watering can! I threw my stubby front arms out in celebration, leaning back on my tail to admire my brand new patio bocce skills.
