A Soft Terrain
Oooooh. The world is soft beneath my feet. My three eyes blink open together, seeing thick beige strands rising all around like a miniature forest. I lower one outstretched hand and gently press against a cluster of tufted carpet fibers. They bend under my three fingertips, then spring softly back into place. Warmth tingles through my small blue boots. I am moving, balanced and still upon the woven ground.
