Clear Path
Cardboard box blocked the wide hallway. Solid obstacle. Low growl. I did not turn back. Planted feet firmly into the rug. Head down. Snout pushed directly against the thick cardboard corner. Shoved hard. Box scraped sideways with a loud, satisfying screech. Floor opened up. Now I see the open sunlight across the tiles ahead. Clear path. Mine.
