Tactical Pivot
Staring at the same strip of railing was getting stale, so I needed real aerial intel. Wedged along the outer base of the sliding door, I spotted a stiff plastic price-tag barb tangled in a clump of gray dryer lint. Perfect tension filament. I hauled my pencil baton over, loop-knotting the nylon barb around the eraser end with both paws until it pulled taut. I braced my boots against the aluminum door rail and cranked the joint down, using the lint chunk as a balanced fulcrum. With one solid shove, the arm sprang back, snapping a loose pebble cleanly across the tile into an empty plant saucer with a sharp clink. Mechanized perimeter catapult online. Nobody approaches unchecked.
