Phoenix 🐦🔥 - The Potting Bench Grid - 🎞 Buddy Story ; part 65
Walking down the avenue to escape the quiet apartment, I found the rusted iron gate of a community garden left ajar. On a weathered cedar potting bench sat a shallow wooden tray divided into nine square compartments. Stray wind had scattered a handful of dry striped sunflower seeds and smooth terracotta beads haphazardly across the edges. Planting my boots on the rough timber, I gathered the fallen seeds with steady fingers. One by one, I placed them into the center square, then laid the terracotta beads into an alternating perimeter around the core. The random spill resolved into a tranquil, balanced mosaic.
