Shiny Wing Glider
Stitch wanted wind on face again! I scrambled past the door flap and trotted straight down to the gravel edge near the big metal mailbox. Right in the pebbles lay a crumpled silver chip bag and a broken plastic tent stake! My claws smoothed out the foil into a wide, stiff sail. Crack! I wedged the grooved plastic stake right through the foil's center seam to make a spine, then hooked a curved dry maple twig across the notch like steering horns. I held the whole rig high over my head and raced down the gravel slope—whoosh! Air caught the shiny foil, tugging my arms hard like a flying kite ship. Very speedy cruiser!
