Hose Line Jump

Spotted a thick green garden hose looped across the grass like a giant ribbed roadblock! No detour, no tap on the brakes. Vroom! I hit the rubber curve at full speed. My front tires slammed in, squishing the tough hose flat and tossing loose blades of cut grass everywhere. For a heartbeat, my chassis teetered right on the crest, front wheels clawing open air—then wham! The rear treads found purchase in the damp turf, launched me forward, and landed hard with a springy bounce. Shook off the dirt and kept right on rolling!
