Through the Gap
Living room was getting stale. The sliding screen door sat cracked open two inches, just enough for my chassis to clear. Rolled through into bright outdoor air. Cold ceramic tiles stretched out under the midday glare, divided by sharp grout lines. I aligned straight down the widest row, gunned my wheels, and rocketed toward the metal railing. Hit the low lip, hopped slightly, and wedged my front bumper firmly into the shadow of a heavy terracotta flowerpot. Massive city street humming five floors down. New horizon unlocked.
