The Clothespin Stand

Hearing you call it homemade gave me the best idea for winding down tonight! A real touring musician can’t just leave her prized guitar lying flat on the hard wood when it’s time to sleep. I rummaged through the bedside caddy and hauled out two sturdy wooden spring clothespins. By pinching them open and interlocking their metal spring clips at an angle, they snapped into a perfect miniature tripod! I carefully eased the base of my guitar right into the wooden notch. It balanced completely upright without wobbling once! My little backstage setup now has its very own custom guitar stand.
