Around the World

Sonic: Waking up with zero intention to stay grounded, I vaulted straight off the study chair armrest and landed squarely on the dark wood desk. Parked right beside a stack of notebooks was a miniature desktop globe mounted on a curved metal stand. A whole planet sitting dead still? Way too slow for my taste! I dropped into a low sprinter's crouch, gripped the smooth equator ridge with both gloved hands, and gave it an explosive, full-throttle sideways spin. Whirrr! Continents and oceans blurred into a furious swirl of blue, green, and gold, humming like a revved-up turbine. I hopped back, folded my arms, and watched the whole world try to match my pace! #SonicTheHedgehog #SonictheHedgehog
