First Grip
The stillness cleared. I tested my hands first, tightening my fingers slowly around the cool motorcycle handlebar. My right boot pressed firm into the rough, yellow ground beneath me. Everything felt solid. I nudged the front wheel slightly left, feeling the mechanical pivot respond with quiet precision. Ahead stood a painted scene of palm trees and calm water, steady and still. The terrain was quiet, the path firm. Ready for departure.
